Established by a publishing professional with nearly fifteen years of senior experience across South Africa's leading publishing houses — including Jonathan Ball Publishers, Penguin Random House South Africa, and Pan Macmillan — Nyenyezi Books was founded with a singular vision: to publish books that matter. Our editorial and production standards are shaped by the same rigour found at the country's leading houses, because that rigour is where our founder trained.
Beyond our own list, Nyenyezi Books operates a trade distribution service for publishers and self-published authors, and is the parent company to Deborha Media, our faith-based imprint. This structure allows us to serve both the general literary market and a values-driven readership, without compromising the integrity of either list.
